The Center for Spiritual Development offers offers two month-long sabbatical programs each year. Both provide abundant relaxation and opportunities for personal and spiritual renewal for women and men involved in ministry.

Sojourn Sabbatical

September 12 – October 14, 2011

September 10 – October 12, 2012

Sojourn Sabbatical is for people returning from a cross-cultural servanthood experience, from overseas, or in urban or rural areas of the United States.  Cross-cultural experience is defined as any experience where two or more cultures and/or sub-cultures interact with one another.  “Sojourn” is a safe place on the journey to rest and share one’s story; where participants have space to encounter the God-thread in the challenge of their experience, and to re-establish and deepen their relationship with God. 

Winter Sabbatical

January 3 - February 4, 2012

January 6 - February 8, 2013

Winter Sabbatical is open to all women and men involved in ministry.  Come celebrate the fruitfulness of your years and experience this grace-filled and bountiful time with the freedom to choose what is most renewing to you.

Registration Fee (non-refundable): $100

Physical Requirements
Guests of the Center for Spiritual Development must be capable of
independent living without a care provider. Guests must be able to
independently negotiate a city block. The grounds and buildings are easily
accessible by electric cart or wheelchair, though electric carts and
wheelchairs must be operated independently. Please note the Center does not employ overnight, residential staff.
